Large drink sizes convert like this:

• 20 fl oz is 0.5915 L.
• 24 fl oz is 0.7098 L.
• 40 fl oz is 1.183 L.
• 128 fl oz, one US gallon, is 3.785 L.

The gap shows up in bigger amounts. A British pint of 20 imp fl oz is 0.5683 L, while 20 fl oz in the US come to only 0.5915 L.
